Kevin McCarthy Joked About Hitting Speaker Pelosi in 2021

In August 2021, GOP Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy joked about hitting Speaker Nancy Pelosi with the House gavel.

A little over a year later, an individual broke into Pelosi’s private residence and assaulted her husband with a hammer. The assailant allegedly shouted ‘Where’s Nancy?’ during the break-in.
