👉 Learn how to evaluate trigonometric functions of a given angle. Given an angle greater than 2pi in radians, to evaluate the trigonometric functions of the given angle, we first determine the smallest positive coterminal angle of the given angle. This we can do by subtracting 2pi or a multiple of 2pi from the given angle.

Coterminal angles are angles with the same terminal side. After obtaining the coterminal angle, we plot the angle on the x-y-coordinate plane and with the help of the Pythagoras theorem or the special angles, we can evaluate the trigonometric functions of the given angle.

since its in the fourth quadrant, sine should be negative since the y-values in the fourth quadrant are negattive.

So what if the denominator was 7 or 5. For example 9pi/7 ? Something that is not on the unit circle?

This is great! What grade is this for? Is this for Alg2 or Precal?

Just curious Since it was the 4th quadrent wasnt that supposed to be negative [ 3^1/2]/2. Becuase the adjecent side 3^1/2 should have been negative because its going down in the Y axis or am i wrong

All the math teachers at my school have a phone pouch with numbered units to insert your phone the moment you walk into class. I hate it since I've to do it but its effective so you might wanna look into it.

Could hv simply done 12pi/3 - pi/3=sin60

Why not just demonstrate that π/3 is 1/6th of 2π and that 1/6th of 360° is 60°?

Bro u have one think wrong in your video... 2pi =6pi/3=12/6 not 12/3 0.0
