I’m always really impressed with the quality of these videos given the relatively small size of the channel. If I saw these videos without knowing how big the channel was I would assume they’d be from a channel in the hundred thousands range. Well done.

The Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off are my top 2 as of now, but I haven’t seen Planes, Trains & Automobiles 😬 it’s on my 100 movies list so I’ll get around to it this year. Great list and post credits scene 🤣

Oh my gosh, I just realized Pretty In Pink is not directed by John Hughes. :o I've always considered that to be my favorite John Hughes film, which technically it still is, but he's the writer and producer of it, not director. So, if we're talking John Hughes directed films, The Breakfast Club is my favorite. It's been a really long time since I've seen Ferris Bueller's Day Off!

Planes Trains and Automobiles is easily the best of the Hughes films.

My favorites are:
6. Uncle Buck (John Candy is pretty funny in this!)
5. Sixteen Candles (Watched this when I was a young teen, I need to give it a rewatch, since it's been at least ten years!)
4. The Breakfast Club (Classic 80s teen coming of age drama)
3. Planes Trains and Automobiles (Steve Martin and John Candy have excellent chemistry)
2. Weird Science (goofy fun)
1. Ferris Bueller's Day Off (I just love this movie! The Star Wars theme music, the comedy between Rooney and Grace, and the "You killed the car." line always get me!)

As much as I respect John Hughes as a writer, and love a lot of his credits (like Home Alone and Christmas Vacation, for instance), I've shamefully only seen two of his directing features, Uncle Buck and The Breakfast Club, which I both love. I need to seriously watch more of his movies, like wow I'm way off on my John Hughes!
