About US
The primary aim and objective of the activities of the DVR is to support the Dinokeng Game Reserve in its nature conservation efforts, to patrol the Self-drive route and ensure that all visitors on the route adhere to the rules and regulations as stipulated in the visitors’ brochure.
Duties of the Dinokeng Voluntary Rangers will also be to assist visitors with any emergencies that may arise.
As Voluntary Rangers, we will be assisting in recruiting and training Voluntary Officers to operate in support of the Dinokeng Game Reserve.
As group of volunteers, we are skilled in Nature Conservation and our desire is to share those skills with the local community, as well as to increase nature awareness through education.
Our believe is that through these objectives, we will increase visitors to the Dinokeng Game Reserve, both through recreation and education.
Land Owners within the Dinokeng Game Reserve will benefit from the educational facilities and courses, as all education opportunities will be made available to the staff and labour force

The Voluntary Rangers Den
We are very fortunate to have our very own facility, right in the heart of the Dinokeng Game Reserve, where we are able to host our monthly meetings, as well as host the educational courses.
The Den is a result of some Generous Donors contributing to the cause and dedicated to the conservation and education of the preservation of our Heritage.
The current facilities at the Den are as a result of many Volunteers and Donors giving of their time and money, affording us the opportunity to carry out our vision.
We are extremely proud of this facility and excited at what we can achieve through the use of this facility.

Our Vision:
Our Vision is to be responsibly involved in activities within the Dinokeng Game Reserve, to assist in stakeholder management, communications and game management
We will be participating in the efforts initiated for the expansion of the Dinokeng Game Reserve, the internal promotion of the Dinokeng Game Reserve and community projects proposed for the area.
