ActionAid Ghana - POWER Project Documentary

The Promoting Opportunities for Women's Empowerment and Rights (POWER) project is a five-year initiative aimed at economically 6,000 rural women farmers in Ghana to have increased income and the ability to control their income by practicing Climate Resilient Sustainable Agriculture (CRSA), increased access to market, and reducing, reconsigning and redistributing the burden of Unpaid Care Work, which refers to the various care burden on women such as cooking, taking care of sick relatives, washing, caring for children, tending to livestock, etc as well as talking violence against women.

This project is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
