wood turning a beautiful piggy bank from an Ikea bed

So i'm wood turning a piggy bank...and i'm using the finest scandinavian pine (an old bed frame from Ikea) and some walnut....i turn a pig shape then hollow it out then i turn a snout ears legs and a tail....the tail is turned as a cylinder i have to draw a spiral and drill the centre, cut with a coping saw carve and sand and create a curly tail. I couldn't bring myself to cut a slot in the top but snout is removable so it can still be a money box.
