BMW E46 330CI Straight Pipe Vs. X-Pipe Exhaust

Straight Pipe System - Loud, but too Loud. Had a loud wail on overrun and top of RPMs that I didn't like. Also felt a loss in performance.

X-Pipe + Magnaflow Muffler - Medium Loudness, much more refined with a Raspy Motorsport Vibe and a Sweet Performance bump to boot. Really Happy with this set up.

Hello to all e46 enthusiasts! Would you also recommend this x-pipe setup for 320i? (m54b22) I'm planning to do it next year and currently where I live engine swapping is not a possibility because the bigger displacement engines are much more expencive. My car does actually produce some burpling after i take off my foot from the gas from second and third gear, which i don't know if it's normal or someone has tinkered already with the exaust(no catalyst). Any other budget recommendations?

That muffler sounds incredible, no doubt about it! I was checking through the comments and description but couldn’t find any mention of which muffler you’re running. Would you mind sharing the part number? I’d love to know!

Hi, Did you keep the original mid and small resonator, plus the x-pipe and end sport muffler? or just the x-pipe plus end muffler? this setup sound is the best for me.

the car only sounds better and good at 1:05 Straight Pipe but when your driving the car it does not sound good you need to make it louder mate and add a couple pops to it for example you can make it sound like m5 cs while driving it but with a louder exhaust

just got a e46 323ci 3 days ago buy it from a guy for 2800 drive it home with no problem, let her parked for 2 days and now the reverse gear don't work anymore 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
