"For some strange reason this one wanted to charge, I don't know why?" I know it's strange. Gators are generally very friendly when they are hungry and see a large steak dinner kicking and splashing in the middle of their dinner table.

What right do they have to kill it because he was in its territory?
We as a species are so deluded.

Its one of the oldest creatures with a sustained form. It doesn't need our help.
It didn't have a "taste for humans"...it had a taste for something medium size splashing around in the water...

In the middle of summer. Wow. Gator mating season. It is never safe to swim in any body of water in Florida
