To everyone saying that this is abuse, it really isn’t. In the video they are clipping the horse, which usually has the whole body done, or where the saddle goes, or like any other place. The only difference here is that they are clipping the horse in a design. Horses are clipped all the time and it’s actually beneficial to them. If they have long winter coats and sweat a lot, then it would take a lot longer for that sweat to dry and them to cool down than it would if they were clipped. The same is true for warmer weather, since the horse can also overheat then (though it’s not as common for horses to be clipped in the summertime, since they naturally have shorter coats in the summer). No, the horse does not feel pain when clipped, the same way you wouldn’t feel pain if you shaved your head. (Obviously unless they were pressing down too hard or cut the horse) but judging by the horse in the video, I doubt that happened. Sure the horse can get sunburnt in the summer when clipped, but you could just throw a sheet on them or smthn like that (thin blanket). And yes, flies are still a problem, but fly spray does exist and does help. I think I have mentioned everything I saw in the comments. :)
