We’re challenging 7-17 year olds around the world to explore the plastic pollution problem and take action to help reduce plastic pollution!

The #kids2030 Challenge teaches young people digital skills through the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. In 2020, the focus is preventing plastic pollution (SDG #12: Responsible Production and Consumption) by applying data science to the problem and coming up with a solution.

The Challenge is a custom-built interactive online learning journey. Get a crash course in data visualization and coding while exploring where plastic waste comes from, how it affects the planet, and how we can help build a better future.

You can take the #kids2030 Challenge on your own, with friends, or with your class (teachers, download our free lesson plan!). The Challenge runs until June 30, 2021!
