11:13 just a quick point of clarification here - the guideline states that “The mother must be on that program at least 300 days before their doctor’s estimate of due date” — so 300 days prior to expected due date, not 300 days prior to conception

After 6 years with CHM, we can say they are absolutely the best!! The cost of my heart transplant and follow-up treatment and care have indeed been covered! We are medical-bill debt free! We will always be grateful for their support, both financially and spiritually.

We are also a part of a health sharing ministry . Overall we have been very happy and feel cared for and are blessed to care for others ; my one issue is they require our pastor to sign a membership form yearly stating we are there at least 3 sundays a month . Even though we abide by all the same covenants of lifestyle you do this church attendance is a stress for me for reasons I’d rather not go into . Does yours require the church attendance ‘ verification ‘ from your pastor as well ?

Based on our research, if you’re having a baby on CHM, your due date has to be atleast 300 days after you CHM membership start.

Did the maternity coverage count vaccinations of the post natal appointments for the infant? If you have not had the baby yet, do you know if vaccinations are part of the sharable approved items?

Thank you for the updates. Important question. Say a member has all of the above - Gold Plus package for the entire family, and a new baby arrives. It says home birth is covered and the "deductible" I believe is $1, 000. What is the steps for this? Would the member let them know "we are self pay" and what papers would they request? And how long would CHM take to pay the bill (minus personal responsibility)?

They don’t cover pre existing conditions especially if the person is over 65? Example a 65 year old person has a heart condition takes medication and has internal defibrillator. Will they help with medical bills prescription and other medical bills that might come up.

I’m a recovering alcoholic in active recovery thru aa and I am a Christian as well however sobriety is no guarantee if God forbid I relapse and have to go back into treatment. Would that be something covered?

The frustrating thing about a program like chm is that we are having to figure out how to make some kind of payment to all of the providers involved in my wife's surgery for several months before we will get a check from chm

So if you sign up today, you have to wait 300 days before you start trying to have a child? Or you just have to have the child after the 300th day?
