NETFLIX DOESN'T HAS 1440p tracks! Everything would be locked to 1080p! Unless you have 4K monitor, then 4K would be played.

I guess theres no way to do this with the second monitor enabled. Since enabling a second monitor that is at 1080p just prevents netflix from scaling further up. Wish there was a work around to leave the second monitor be and still have netflix scale up to 1440p

The Ctrl+Shift+Alt+D command saved my day, some of the titles don't support more than full HD that was my case. thanks mate

confirming the hevc extension one still works. Not on chrome and edge thou but through the app I could watch at 1440p

Its stupid, if you have dual monitors, you HAVE to disable the one monitor. I was hoping for a work aroundas I use 1 monitor for work and the other for movies or shows but it doesnt work.

I recently bought a RTX 3080 and the HEVC codec doesnt seem to work well with it. My netflix is unable to play any of the 4K HDR content as the screen ends up turning black but sound can still be heard.

So you say it has nothing to do with a graphic card?? I got an i7 4th gen, 2k monitor and a GeForce GT1030, I saw my Netflix steams at 720p!! I'm shocked. How can I change this? Superb video! Thank you.
