This song is so toxic, but the beat is just UGH. It actually captures toxic relationships really well. Especially that "hurt me?" at the end—it sounds like a genuine question, like the woman either doesn’t realize he’s hurting her, or doesn’t want to admit it. Maybe she’s brushing it off—telling herself “he doesn’t mean it”—or maybe she knows but is stuck in denial. I love and hate this song at the same time.
