Tank: Be Mr Highground Himself/Obi-Wan Kenobi.

DPS: Be The Terminator/when protecting humans.

Support: Be Batman/Always have a plan B to save everyone including yourself.

How to play Lucio: blast Spotify to the max and focus all the squishies so you can wait for them to respawn so you can spawn camp them to push them off the edge

Tank and support are the most important roles for obvious reasons.

Although there are exceptions to these, like dive tanks like wrecking ball or Winton and backline dps like tracer and sombra

As a support main, I have to die the least. But as a Lucio main, I die the most.

Support is such a difficult role to perfect. Any slip-up is lethal if your team is not that good

Tips I found for some of my old tank mains (and a new one!):
Doom: Take high grounds! Your role is to dominate people trying to go alone or snipers staying in the back.
Rein: stay low and hold your shield high! Your wall is the 1 thing protecting your team from the assault of your enemy's.
Road hog: your a behemoth of combat so drag away large threats like phara, orisa, or ramatra and remember just like rein, you are the 1 thing from your team and the enemy

If you are tank, learn positioning.
If you are dps, learn positioning.
if you are support, learn positioning.

If you're a tank, leave when you see a zenyatta because his mission is to ruin your life.

Only thing I don't really agree with is tank, as Ball and Doom aren't necessarily the front line (at least not in the traditional sense).

Their tanking capabilities often comes from flanking the enemy backline to avert agro away from your team. They're health pack reliant, so their goal is to jump in, possibly get a pick, force the enemy tank to peel, and then hop back out onto the high ground or to a safe space where they can heal up. The first point on kings row is always a prime example of this.

It would also help if Tank/DPS stay close to support when possible to prevent characters like Winston from rushing.
