SURECOM SR-328 Duplex Repeater Controller

You need to use a repeater duplexer if you are going to not do a cross band repeat. As soon as the tx radio transmits it will overload the receive of the RX radio, especially if you are only going with the standard 600khz split on 2 meters.

i bought this but i cant get it to work at distance. i tried everything i can imagine, setting antennas as far away as possible (20m and 5-6m in height), i tried to put the freq as far away as my radios can, i tried setting tone on the RX side and the TX side and on both. but i cant get a range of more than 2-300m . i tried to see what happen with a help from my friend. on both RX and TX radio we had clear and good connection but when he made a call with the system on it look like the RX radio get the call, and the surecom get the signal and start up the TX radio, but in under a sec the transmission get cut. anyi dea of that i do wrong ??

Question what is the need of the white repeater box when those radios are able to talk to each other anyways 🤔

Can you use just 1 radio with this model or do you need 2 hooked up to the repeater for it to work ? I see the sr-112 can be done with 1 radio wasn’t sure the difference with the 2 surecom repeaters

Why not just go output on radio A directly to input on radio B with VOX. It seems this product does what the radios can already do on their own.

Hi, I am having trouble setting the off set to 750 Hz!!  it wont let me set the 5 and defaults to 0.700hz.
