🎙Extron focused on a two main UC workflows for UCX 2024 – a wireless sharing setup and (surprise, surprise!) a Microsoft Teams Room. Thanks to Extron’s Keith Burley for talking us through these setups.
🎙On the wireless collaboration front, the ShareLink Pro 2000 allows multiple users present wired or wireless content from their devices onto a display for easy collaboration (and it gets a thumbs-up from us for being PoE powered). The companion ConferenceShare platform enables wireless sharing of video and audio from in-room USB devices with a Windows or macOS laptop running Teams, Zoom, etc, making USB devices like room cameras connected to ShareLink Pro available to users with ConferenceShare running on their laptop.
🎙Turning to MTR solutions – Extron offers room controls as an add-on for Windows based Microsoft Teams Rooms systems, so the user can control things like lights, blinds and video switching without needing to jump between platforms.
