Sky News host Peta Credlin says “all credit” to Australia’s Olympian teams but breakdancing had a “dud” performance.

“All credit to our magnificent Olympian team, that is bringing back a record swag of medals, but a dud performance is a dud performance, there is no point pretending otherwise,” Ms Credlin said.

“Breakdancing was one of those new sports introduced to us at Paris … unfortunately our competitor … who wrote her thesis on gender in Sydney’s breakdancing scene, well, she got precisely zero points in three rounds of competition.”

they put raygun in there on purpose so we’ll never see breakdancing at the olympics again

This is the closest we get to "I want to see regular people compete at the olympics to see how good the actual athletes are"

the judges deserve a reward for being fair and not giving her "pity" points

A shining example of someone lying on their application and the moments when that person actually has to perform

She broke the record of not having any point

The key point is they took away the opportunity from some deserving athlete

Her and her husband placed her in the Olympics. They created the Australian brake dancing association and then denied anyone who was not her. If that's not cheating your way into the Olympics then i dont know what is.

The reporter gets a 10 out of 10 for telling the truth.

If you “breakdanced” like this in the 90s in LA or NY you would have been beaten or shot.

In 3 rounds she didn't score a single point. Zeros all across the board. How she's not embarrassed is beyond me.

There should be a criminal investigation opened up on how her husband was the judge that got her into the Olympics and subsequently denied actual skilled breakdancers from ever being able to compete there again!

I consider this sad as Im sure there are many talented female break dancers who would have loved to have this opportunity

The Olympics isn’t meant to “have a crack at it”. It’s for the best of the best of that country. Australia made a fool of itself with letting her “compete”.

Isn't there supposed to be a tryout to get into the Olympics before you embarrass your country?

She’s out there doing Kangaroo hops, expecting 10s. I’m glad they didn’t give her participation points. She puts real breakdancing to shame.
