Tbh while this works I find that some of Spider-Man’s older villans shows the contrast between both characters much more bringing out even more characteristics of Peter than flash ever could idk maybe it’s just me but like comic sandman or goblin even in no way home showed more of Spider-Man’s character than most renditions of flash especially in the movies

While the situations are relatable they are never really handled that way, if I came into contact with flash as an average joe I might know what id do in the back of my head but i definitely feel I relate more when Spider-Man freaks out behind the mask and his eyes widen just before he charges at some super soldier monstrousity or something insane from the marvel roster because I would react that way too if I was just a teen who caught powers instead of a grizzled ex military super fighter hero, again just my opinion I know your version prolly works better
