I see a lot of people saying they would have preferred if they use the gold from the gauntlet, but I actually disagree. If they used the gold from the gauntlet they would probably have to use these gold pieces. It would look weird to see two different kinds of gold. I think by having it be all one gold color it fits better. Plus it matches the minifigure.

They absolutely should have used the gold plated parts like in the Infinity Gauntlet

For similar price, the new Jaws set seems better value. Good point about the gold colour. Likely minifig dictated this colour

To get The shinier gold, if you ‘box painted’ them with a very thin layer of glossy paint or shinier paint, how much would that interfere with its assemblage ?
Box painting is assembling a vacuum chamber & spritzing The paint into it so that every surface in The box is covered with a very thin layer on uniformly distributed paint ( ? )

This set is so weird to me. I think almost nobody wanted a buildable C-3PO (including myself). But after seeing it, I actually like it a lot, but it is still a boring C-3PO 😂. Also the price doesnt help. I guess I'll buy it if it goes 50% off at some sale, just because it looks so nice next to the R2-D2 which I bought just to get Malak lol.
Adding an anniversary figure wouldve definitely boosted the sales on this one.

The shiny gold on the gauntlet would be so far away from what C3PO actually looks like as a costume and in the movies, dunno why anybody would suggest that aesthetic.

I can't believe they are still releasing stickers in adult sets.... blows my mind. That black piece with the torso wires should 100% be a printed piece. Especially for the crappy price of this set. Definitely not a day 1 buy.... will be waiting for the sales.
