Love this song and I am so, so sad not finding it until recently, because it would have changed me personally earlier in my long life. It immediately took me back to when I was in High School with my girlfriend, for which we had a 3 year Love Affair, until a stupid intoxicated driver took her and her mother's life in July 1972. We were engaged to be married in August to start our life together. Funny when I first listened closely to the words of this song, it was the same words that we discussed together. It is interesting how tragedies in our lives makes you better at relationships moving forward, and that one for me personally, made me a better man today.
