Sidney Poitier, a Bahamian-American actor who became the first Black man to win the Academy Award for Best Actor for the 1963 film "Lilies of the Field," has passed away. He was 94.

I remember the movie To Sir with Love in the early sixties. I just posted the ending of that movie on my Facebook page. I can’t wait to watch his movies this weekend. Rest in Power Sir Sydney Poitier
