How to Change Your Austin Air Filter

Показать описание
The filter replacement process is the same for every model of Austin Air purifier – and it’s very simple!
You’ll need:
- Phillips-head screwdriver
- Pair of gloves
- Garbage bag (full-sized kitchen or contractor’s)
* We also recommend completing this process outside, if possible.
First, you'll open up your Austin Air unit and remove the old filter.
Step 1: Begin by placing your Austin Air Purifier upside down.
Step 2: Remove the four screws from the bottom.
Step 3: Put on your gloves, remove the bottom panel, take out the old filter and place it in your trash bag. Then remove the pre-filter.
Now you can discard your old filter and install your fresh new filter.
Step 4: Place your new pre filter in first. (The edge of the pre-filter lines up with the cord.)
Step 5: Carefully insert the filter, top-side down.
Step 6: Put the bottom back on the unit and screw it back in place
Once the new filter is in your unit, bring it back inside and run it on high for at least 1 hour to break in your filter.
Austin Air Purifier filters are warrantied to last up to 5 years so this isn’t a process you’ll need to do very often.
Friendly reminder: please be sure to fill out your warranty card.
That's the impact of Austin.
