True.. i was shocked when I realised this when I tried to sell it last year

I learnt it hard way.. even after surge in prices I had lose almost 6% due to this difference in prices.

if you buy gold coin you must pay gold price +3%gst and 2% to 4% making charges. today 24k price is 6135+3%GST+3%(making charges)=6508 if you sell this coin same jewelers taken back only 6135/- no GST and no Making charges. our loss is same as 6%. in jewelers sell only 0.5gm coins with hefty Making charges. in this case digital gold can buy as 1mg. this digital gold is for long term only. buy at ₹6.2 accumulate and sell at ₹8 in few years.

Yesterday it was 6.5% (in gst) difference in my digital gold buy and sell rates. Today it is 10% inc gst.😢 total govt supported fraud.
