Kind of reminds me of my old shooter days where people would complain about certain weapons or powerups being too good & players would bash other players for using them. I feel like the same argument applies with BC as well: There is a difference between a player who uses ubers & a player who actually knows how to use ubers. That is what separates the ubercarried from the skilled for me at least.

While I don't use them much myself, I don't see nothing inherently wrong with ubers myself, but it does kind of lead to what I call the "P2W dilemma" where some players get the impression that just because they are labeled as "uber" these units can beat the game with no effort whereas it's actually the contriare & this is what I love about BC myself. Ubers are just more specialized units designed to make tackling stages easier instead of the instant "I win" cards that tends to be the norm that characterizes units of this caliber in other games. It gives people that sort of vibe & I suppose that is where the whole ubercarry thing might stem from or at least partially derived from that. Truth is that in BC, most of the time normal units work better than ubers IMO. I've always seem ubers more as auxiliaries if anything to compliment my lineups rather than centralizing my lineups around them.

Being ubercarried isn't necessarily bad, but flexing that you beated a stage when using an uber is the negative side. Like imagine someone that took years to clear the stage just so mitama can clear it easily and whats worse that user flex that he beated the stage and how it was so easy. This also goes for someone who is to above leveled for a stage and saying this is so easy.

Often i try to not use ubers for self opposed challenge but I tend to bring ubers to beat annoying stages faster or to redo beaten maps to make reward grinding easier (like SoL maps with unit drops)
