Have you wondered how to make infinite zoom art, just like me?
In this tutorial I will show you a way to make your own endless zoom art on your iPad.

The app I used to create this infinite zoom artwork is Endless Paper (and Procreate of course). If you know about another app or another way to create infinite zoom art that is cheaper or free, then let me know in the comments.

EDIT: You can do the same thing in the free app Mental Canvas. Check the comment that I have pinned to find out how.

If you want to create the same drawings as I used, then you can follow these tutorials:

Some ideas from not an artist:
- use feather select when making your “hole” so the pixelation as you zoom is less sharp
- if making a reel, set your last image same as the first so it can loop!
- try putting a low opacity tint over the hole to adjust the color of the underlying piece

Thank you @Shatadru Roy for sharing a free app in which we can get the same result! I feel silly I didn't figure this out myself 🤪 but you can use the free app (at least for now it's free, I don't know if it'll stay that way) Mental Canvas.
In Mental Canvas you need to go to the layer menu on the left side and tap the little photo icon. That way you can add an image from your library to the canvas.
Then zoom out and place your next one. Make sure the image that is further away is beneath the image that is closer.
I must say that moving the images around in Mental Canvas is a bit more challenging sometimes, but it does the job!

Another paid option that works is Affinity Designer (Thanks @Eduardo Silva), so if you are already using that or want to invest in another drawing app, then that could be an option for you too.

Thank you for this. I love Flo and all her tutorials. It’s so helpful. I use art as a way to de-stress, not much of an artist but it just helps me with my anxiety. Flo is the best 😊❤

Vizref is way cheaper and you can do the same thing (EDIT: VIZREF IS NOT ENDLESS, IT HAS ITS LIMITS SO INFINITE CANVAS IS THE ONLY FEEE OPTION THAT CAN DO THE JOB). The only thing I think some of these app should implement is a way to set a path the app can use to zoom on and smooth zoom thru that path automatically and export as a video or something. infinite canvas is the only app I found it can do that and actually more complex things but it's subscription based if you want to get rid of the watermark sadly
