This is amazing I'm 21 and I grew up with my family praying the Rosary even though at the time I didn't want to pray the rosary it is now a prayer that I incorporate in my life.

We started around Christmas and we’ve continued our family rosary for lent. We do it after dinner before bed. Bedtime was chaotic and my husband was never really interested in doing the rosary before…but he suddenly had a change of heart when we fell on hard financial times. And he enjoyed it so much that now we try our best to do it every evening! I have 3 kids, 5, 3 and 1…we take turns doing the Hail Mary’s. They are not allowed to play with anything noisy but can move around freely. This is also a time where we practice with my 3 year old to sit for an extended period to prepare him for sitting through mass. It makes a huge difference when the father is involved and takes charge of this time.

I'm 22 now but I'm so happy my parents taught me the rosary. I also believe something really powerful for kids is a formal marian consecration, my dad had this for me with the Father Kolbe Missionaries when I was younger. At the time I probably didn't grasp the absolute importance of it but Mary is so good and has guided me along the way. Thank you for promoting the rosary!

Has anyone done the Dominican rosary? Very similar but beginning is shorter. They start it with "In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

V. Hail Mary, full of Grace, the Lord is with thee.
R. Blessed are thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

V. O Lord, open my lips.
R. And my mouth will proclaim your praise.

V. O God, come to my assistance.

My kids were just baptized and receive Holy Communion soon. I’ve struggled with my faith for years. I feel I’m finally in a place where things are falling in to place. My boys were gifted beautiful rosaries by their god parents and I’ve decided I’d like for us to pray it together. It’s been a while but I like the idea of even it’s just starting out with just a decade or just on Sunday it’s a good way to ease them into it and get myself back to doing it! Awesome channel!

Hi Heather, your video has encouraged me to try once more praying the rosary as a family. We've tried many times in the past but my children (9 and 11) complain too much and I get frustrated. Besides, my husband is not always willing to lead the Rosary.

We try to pray the family rosary every night at 7 pm with relevant radio on YouTube .I have a 4 year old and 19 month old. The 4 year old has no interest lol she reads or gets angsty because we don't play with her. I try to pray on my own along with the liturgy of the hours at night
I really want to start the 54-day rosary novena but can never get around to it.

Thank you so much for sharing this. Unfortunately I did not grow up with the rosary or chaplet. I know my parents pray but we never did anything as a family. I was away from our Catholic Faith for a very long time and now I know the importance and power of these prayers. I am a single mother to a boy with special needs/disabilities. So, I'm the only one praying. I do try to pray out loud when he is near me. Although he can't talk, I know he understands a lot.
