This was by far one of Netflix's most outstanding productions. And as someone who lived through the era depicted (UK university, 90s London) I can honestly say that I have never seen the era recreated so accurately.. It was spot on, just amazing like stepping into a time machine. Incredible!!!

I loved the loss portrayed by Dexter, when you don't cry but your eyes do. Just water pouring while your face is serene. This is actually the sincere sorrow. Very, very well made and played. Great morale, as well. Thank you loved it.

a number of scenes stand out.... the drive to the station with his father after he has arrived drunk at the family home ... the phone scene at the station and then the box room scene at the end brilliant acting writing and direction
