I hope the NWA got a better looking belt for the women's division. The last time i saw it looked like it came with a "My first wrestling promotion." Playset.

I remember when TNA had the NWA title for a while, and it was great and always looked like such an amazing world title

i grew up in the 80s and 90s with vinces dominance of the industry but even I knew who briscoe and race were. i was all over aol studying and discussing the history of the industry. im pretty sure i talked to tony khan a few times on there LOL. You wore it very well Mister Scrap Iron Sir. You kept the lineage of Harley alive quite well my man, thank you for that, it was a necessary effort to keep the talent base flowing. I appreciate it!

It’s crazy how the NWA barely survived throughout the modern era of wrestling, from being disrespected by Shane Douglas in in ECW and basically losing its value at the time, to falling out with TNA, and more recently losing the value of the title by putting it on Titus.

I had discovered NWA as a kid in like the late 2000s on a random syndicated channel and the first match I saw from it just so happened to be Adam Pearce defending the ten pounds of gold against X-Pac in like a high school gym

When Pearce came into WWE I was pumped. Same with Aldis but more so with/for Adam Pearce.
The first "Indy" match I seen featured Adam Pearce.
I to loosely quote Drake but Adam started from the bottom now he's here. Couldn't have happen to a better person.

The NWA really needs to make a big comeback. Too mucn tradition and prestige associated with that brand.

Glad that accomplished NWA alumni are getting their exposure in wwe even if it’s as general managers. Hope he and aldis can work in a match in wwe

Adam was a fantastic NWA World Champion. Seven Levels of Hate with Colt Cabana was awesome.

That's what's up... I didn't know at first that he was a former champion, I knew you had a background in wrestling but this is the first time I've actually seen it... They definitely chose the right person to be general manager for RAW, he knows what he's doing.. and he can stand up for himself when it comes to the talent.. they're not going to just bowl him over.. or walk all over him. There's a mutual respect. And if there isn't then they sure as hell learn pretty quick.

sometimes i wish the nwa world title was looked at by fans how it used to be in the 70s-90s, it was one of the most if not THE most prestigious wrestling title alive at one point

TNA wouldn’t be anything without the legacy of the NWA, and even then I have such a strong world of respect for all those that carried it with love and honor.

It's crazy how both the WWE GMs were NWA champions.

Shame how the NWA has just destroyed itself so quickly as of late.

I’ve been aware all along that Adam Pearce used to wrestle. However, you have to admit, he has a very typical corporate boss type of look. He acts the role perfectly and he looks the role to a T. You’d think he did corporate work or management work for all of his life.
