Milwaukee Bucks general manager John Hammond said he felt “giddy” while watching Giannis Antetokounmpo play at the U20 Euro Championships before the 2013 NBA Draft. So much so that he made the 6-foot-9 Giannis the 15th overall selection in the draft as one of the foundational blocks of a rebuilding franchise that desperately needed some guards. “When you see a kid 19 years old out on the floor doing what he is doing, you’re going to say, ‘I got it. I get it. I can see how good he can be,’” Hammond said. “I don’t think they will see it every night, but if he shows it every once in a while...”

The lanky forward showed Milwaukee’s fans flashes of the future with two double-doubles in a mostly reserve role as a rookie, and he has since morphed into one of the most complete players in the league. In each of the past four seasons, Giannis has averaged at least 25 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and a steal per game. Throughout the rest of NBA history, only four other players have accomplished that stat line one time in their career. Though Hammond left the Bucks right before Giannis came into his own, he was surely watching with giddiness from Orlando.

As Giannis’ skills improved, collectors who owned his 2013 Panini Prizm rookie cards started to feel giddy themselves. That card has become the premier card to own from the second-year Prizm set, and collectors have a chance at a PSA 10 Silver Prizms parallel in this month’s Premier Auction. There is bound to be an uptick in worldwide giddiness through the end of the extended bidding session—will you be the collector who is brought pure joy at auction’s end?
