The Need for Sustainable Urban Mobility

This course aims at providing an overview of the challenges that are connected to car-focused urban development in fast-growing cities in the world such as traffic congestion, road crashes or Greenhouse Gas Emissions and pollution. The speaker calls for a paradigm shift towards people-centred mobility and introduces the Avoid-Shift-Improve Framework of Sustainable Urban Mobility.
