It is truly an inexplicable feeling to think that this nice young girl was coldly and abruptly robbed of her life just when she was beginning to discover all of those wonderful and sensitive things of life which make us human. To read the eloquence of her words in her diary and to know that whatever potential she had was unrealised does more than simply achieve the purpose of reassuring ourselves of the evils of fascism and hatred but allows us to know something of who Anne Frank was and the sort of person whom she might have become.

Anne Frank had a picture of Queen Elizabeth (when Princess Elizabet) on her bedroom wall - which is still there. And she talked about her in her diary. Which just goes to show that what happened to Anne is in living memory.

How crazy to see her in the colorised dutch streets, I knew she lived in my home country of course, at a young age I read her diary, but to see it so 'real' just makes it feel different you know?

Minor detail, we put the number of a house address after the streetname in the Netherlands, but everyone still understands it like this too, so just me nitpicking :)
