Double cleansing is usually important for the removal of sunscreen and makeup. First an oil based cleanser followed by a foaming cleanser - for oily skins.

Hi Dr. Rajani, I just wanted to get clarification for morning routine order of products. 1) cleanser 2) serum 3) toner or retinol 4) moisturizer or sun screen
Would that be right?

Also should there be anytime to wait from step 3 (toner or retinol) and step 4 (moisturizer/sun screen)?

I also want to say that I just discovered your videos, and find the super informative. And I love your open and honest communication style. Well done! Please keep up the good work. I'll definitely be buying your skin care products. :)

Firstly so appreciate this video 🙏🏻 . This makes so much sense once you hear the reasons why the order is important. And I did not realize you could apply Vit. C and niacinamide to wet skin! Very happy to know this as I am applying everyday wondering if it’s right LOL
As always such a great pleasure to watch and listen to your vids.🙏🏻🙏🏻😊🌹✨✨✨

Hi Dr.Rajani
I tried a mendallic acid toner 3%
Since it was called a toner I used it first after cleansing ..
2 weeks later I have a HUGE reaction
Face swells up, skin feels like sandpaper to the touch, every single product except for argan oil burns …
So let’s just say I’ve completely given up on any acids - I look 20 years older w this stuff now

I'm minimum I find it is the best for my skin I wash with cerave cleanser then use tretinoin at night followed by eucerin 5% urea. In the day I don't wash my face I use spf 50++++ eucerin dry touch occasionally I use a serum but maybe only twice a week the ordinary resveratrol

I am 40 and I have dry skin. I've never washed my face twice a day and I've always just kept my skin moist. I've never used sunscreen I don't eat the best diet I smoked a good portion of my life and done drugs. I have very few wrinkles and beautiful skin and I've never had any work done what so ever. The point is, for me using a good moisturizer has been the key.

Hi Dr & All! Im only 2 yrs late! Ive just been learning about skincare for the last couple of months. I am getting a bit confused and i really dont know what im doing. Heres the items im trying to use.
HA (a thick & a thin formula. Whichever i need.)
Niacinamide
Collagen Peptide serum
No7 Future renew serum (day&nite) plus No7 Firming Booster serum on neck 2x/day
Cerave Resurfacing Retinol Serum (day)
Hers face oil
Im trying several gentle cleansers.
2x/wk doing a gentle scrub.
Sun Bum face 50 sunscreen.
And newly, Garnier SkinActive Miscellar gentle peeling water (1%PHA+Glycolic acid) used 1x/day.
Im literally alternating all of these. Applications at least 3x/day.
I have to space applications for Hours due to piling. So im often putting something on my face, neck, hands and i get the back of my neck & ears & back of ears. 😅 So really, what should i be doing.
I learn something new & i want to add it. Currently would like to add Argiriline, AHA and i cant remember another ones name. 🙂
