What is Unstructured Data?

It’s an astounding fact. Only 20% of most organizations’ data is structured. A whopping 80% is unstructured. What’s the difference?

Structured data is anything that is organized, usually inside of a database. Unstructured data is everything else, like text files, emails, videos and images. Some unstructured data is not secure and can contain private data that can leave you vulnerable to cyber-attacks. Anyone can see it.
