My father is from Sheresheva. Would love to see it!

And absolutely brilliant video.
Well thought out, well laid out and very descriptive of the various time periods and the people that lived them.
Many of these hard-working people, have made their way into Canada and lived on the East Coast, Quebec and prairie provinces.
It is difficult not to find a community that threads back to this part of the world.
It is a rich and unique heritage that I am proud to be a result of.
I can’t wait to explore more of these roots. And although I may be thousands of miles away, having you there brings me closer.
Thankyou

My grandfather was born in Pruzhany in 1915. Thanks for your video.

Thank you, very interesting. I makes me curious about visiting my ancestors home town.

My grandfather emigrated from the outskirts and I recently reconnected with family in Belarus. Looking forward to a visit someday. The Soviets prevented my grandfather from returning to Pruzhany and the Sobieski village where he was born.

Really fascinating since I have distant relatives from this part of the world.

Thank you for this well-paced and thoughtful virtual tour. Only in the last few years did I learn my paternal great-grandfather Louis Berger, his wife Ida Rugowitz and four of their children were born in Pruzhany. They also had connections to Sharashova, joining the Prushin-Shereshow Beneficial Association in Philadelphia (USA) after immigrating there in 1899 and 1900. I have not yet accessed any historic records in Pruzhany, so any advice you can offer will be greatly appreciated. Thank you again. :)

Do you know where the barracks of the Polish 25th Greater Ulhan Regiment was? Is there anything in it's place? Has anything been recovered from that site by any chance?

You still don't need to wear a mask in Belarus. That is great. Last freedom country where you don't need to wear a mask.

It's just another small Polish town, now exterritorial.
