My favourite film of all time.
First saw it when I was about ten years old, and watched it last week at fifty. So beautifully scripted, acted and shot, that it takes my breath away every time I watch it.

One of the greatest films I've ever seen and in my opinion David Niven's finest performance. In fact the entire cast is nothing short of brilliant, doing full justice to the exceptional writing, direction and cinematography. This film stands up just as well today as it did the day it was released and modern actors would do well to watch this as an example of how it SHOULD be done.

I'm just grateful to the YouTuber who uploaded the full movie to YouTube. It can be disseminated to a wider audience than this beautiful movie was shown to during its run at the theaters. Modern day Hollywood could learn a few things regarding how to make movies from this beauty.
