I come from a christian extremists background, and have religious trauma. The abrahamic religions depict god as angry and to be feared, aiming to survive a sort of end of world apocalypse.... But with Krishna, it is joy, and simply celebrating the fact that he loves you. No fear, no shame, just peace and joy. I want to know him, I want to know this man, the true living god. No more fear, just love and peace. Your channel means the world to someone here, I hope you know that.

Though I was a devotee of Lord Krishna but I came into Krishna Consciousness and joined ISKCON just 2 years back and the reason is HG Amogh Lila Prabhuji. Once a person asked him why he came into Krishna Consciousness and he replied, "God has given me so many things & I've not shown my gratitude towards him" This line just hit my soul and I also decided to join the Hare Krishna Movement.

I was fortunate enough to receive a Pamphlet of Gita Life classes happening in Thane, Mumbai. And when I attended the first class, it was altogether a different experience, divine!!
Since that day, I am in constant touch with Srila Prabhupada & Hare Krishna Movement.

Though my father was not supportive initially, now things seem sorted.
I recollect getting up early in the morning to finish my rounds so that no one catches me while chanting. And once my Aai (mother) had even caught me. 😂😅
But all these experiences help increase our faith in Lord Krishna.

I came into krishna conciouness when I heard Hare krishna kirtan by Srila prabhupada.his voice was so intense so spritual so transcendental I just started researching about Srila Prabhupada Ji. his voice was from another world attracted me and I am trying to develop krishna conciouness.
