🔹22 yrs old: @Virge joined as director of coaching to further improve the coaching experience and help us make more free Rocket league content that is accessible to everyone.

One more tip. Try to match the speed of the ball when it's on the ground so when u hit it off the wall it won't go flying. Also try match the speed of the ball when carrying it.

Another tip :D, if you want to be glued to the ball and not lose it, let go of boost right before you carry the ball so it doesn't bounce off like a shot. It gives you a lot more control on where you want to push it. But if you want to accelerate the ball forward (for a double tap), boost into the ball and push/pop it forward.

staying glued to the ball actually looks cleaner, but of course learning the setup the way spookluke is sayng is probably the best way to, but afterwards learning to stay glued onto the ball is a faster way to air dribble at the goal

Rocket league mechanics are some of the hardest mechanics I’ve ever learned in a video game, and yet after a lot of practice even my keyboard and mouse ass can air dribble fairly consistently in freeplay.

Also in general a lower cam and angle is better for air, and a higher is better for dribbling. I.E. H100 A-3, is slightly better than H110 A-4. It helps understand how to get under the ball instead of into it.
