PKJ is really killing it on action comics I love it and holy shit seeing mongol kill Superman wow I didn’t see this one coming.

So, Superman’s version of “Planet Hulk” with the authority being his Warbound, ? Cool. All the parallels between PH really clicked with this issue, especially with Clark being in weakened state, Like Hulk was at the start of his adventure.
I wonder if Superman will have a “ worldbreaker” moment, too lol. Still, this has been the most fun and entertaining Superman has been since Tomasi’s run.

In other words--future state superman. Maybe it was derailed in Gotham. But superman's foretold future looks like it's happening right on schedule.

I'm not going to forget that road, lined with impaled Phaelosian corpses, courtesy of Mongul. I'm going to need to see some consequences for such barbarism. A strong uppercut from Superman is not going to get it. Overall agree with you Joel. A good comic and potentially, an amazing epic. Time will tell.
