Bringing Magical Moments to Millennial Farmer Fans:

Book The Millennial Farmer to Speak at your Next Event:

Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture. With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

I worked at a powerplant 140 feet high without a elevator , we took a inventory of all the bolt and nut sizes needed for typical jobs, it saved many a step and lugging of extra wrenchs

Just a reminder Zach. Shutting the tractor engine off releases the pto brake, so you can turn the tractor pto shaft instead of the Implement shaft, to align the pto splines. It's some safer too. I know that you know that. 😊

The trials and tribulations of being a farmer. Everything freezes, sticks when you need it not too. Well at least the dogs are helping clean up the corn. 😉 Happy New Year to you and the family.

My father did everything the gard way. When a unit was not in use the pto shaft ends were removed and put on a shelf until the next time. The square tube the shaft slid onto was always greased on 4 sides before being slid on. More work but it always moved when you wanted it to.

I worked in a milling company for awhile. when we had a spill we had 2 or 3 small augers ( 3 or 4 inch, 10 foot long) that we would use to move the grain out to where it could be handled and disposed of . a little easier than walking with a shovel full of corn.

I've always admired farmers sense i was around 8 years old knowing how hard you all work & under dangerous conditions. Thx to all the farmers, be safe and hopefully prosperous in 2025. 🙏

You and your dad work so well together, so nice to see.

When shoveling corn from under the grain leg, you can tell your Dad grew up shoveling. In just 2 scoops I could see he has forgotten more about how to use a # 14 scoop shovel, than "the Millennial, " will ever know. No knock on the Millennial, just a complitement to Pops.

So glad we have a grain vac for times like this. Makes spills and messes a lot easier and quicker to clean up. Should look into one Zach. Even if you only use it a couple times a year it’s quite handy.

I know you’re a smart man, when I was a young man working at a grain elevator we would use a come along on a leg boot slide. Fun times! 😉

About 20 years back, I bought a large set of combination wrenches from Harbor freight. For something I don't use very often, they sure have come in handy and I've never had a problem with them, even when doubling up wrenches for twice the torque, I haven't broken or damaged any.
