Cole and Phoebe were this amazing, iconic intense couple. Alyssa and Julian are highly talented actors with great onscreen chemistry. They deserved a better ending! The writers really let the characters and the fans down should have brought Cole back 2/3 episodes before show ended and brought them back together. The writers really tore Cole apart .. I get it Julian’s contract was up but still have him leave with some dignity and respect for the relationship with Phoebe. Not to mention the trust he had build with Piper and Leo!

What’s sad is Cole’s whole storyline was a cruel twist of fate. He was an infamous witch-killing upper level demon who lost his heart to the witch he seduced only to be a means to an end for the Charmed Ones victory. Phoebe paid a heavy price, but the Charmed Ones win BECAUSE Phoebe is who she is.

While I love Phoebe and I love Cole, I didn’t love them together.

The writers didn’t give Cole a break and made Phoebe act so stupidly about him, that it even helped lead to Prues death.

It was a great storyline in Season 3 that ultimately got ruined by Season 4 (Not the actual plot/ writing. Just in terms of their relationship) and then by season 5 I just wanted relief for Cole.

The best thing that could’ve happened to Cole is if Phoebe had left to be evil in the underworld.
