This game is so scripted if the game doesn't want you to win you just won't win no matter what you do. Today I was playing a game and just couldn't tackle anybody. The CPU ran an off tackle play for a touchdown and there was literally 5 attempted and missed tackles and nobody could take him down

I think flawless NFL simulation is in competitive tournaments. Where you routinely make the standard professional play of going for it on 4th & 17 from your own 3.

Fascinating. We all know why this happens. EA doesn't care. They get their money from their monopoly and nothing else. They have no incentive to make a good game. Everybody knows this. I really hope the NFL opens up for competition but since they don't care about even player safety, and only money, they'll most likely extend the exclusive deal

Such bullshit. The myth that receivers don’t like blocking is exactly that. With the shit that defenders talk, and how often they themselves get hit, you best believe receivers love the opportunity to finally get to hit back. Not only that, but receiving cores are brotherhoods and they will absolutely take the opportunity to make blocks for one another downfield.

I think we need to look higher up the ladder at this point. The NFL wanted their brand to be marketed at a premium price, and they gave EA this opportunity. That was the first domino in all of this, and it's the NFL that has made Madden the only licenced simulation football game on the market.

I'm afraid Clint won't give you a proper answer for this. He'll just bring up an NFL clip from 1463 to justify this gameplay while insulting NFL players with better careers than he ever had to do it. Fingers crossed that the NFL realizes what FIFA did and pulls this license.

It's moments like this that just ruin the immersion....I've got this game a month ago and every damn time I feel like "ok I can do this and overlook the madden moments " correction "NFL EASPORTS moments" I want to turn this game off...it never fails. They just ruin simulation with this release....its not a simulation it is an arcade game... Even when you set it on simulation play the animations don't allow a full experience...not even gonna get into the fact that when you run a franchise it's bland at best...still can't trade in true to life replication...example the falcons traded ridley for a pick and in EASPORTS NFL football he's still injured can't be moved in the main menu or inside the franchise....yeah you have to clear all the pre existing injuries but if you want full immersion then you'd want the pre existing injuries to be a factor...you can't win.
