That's a great idea I've been using large diameter steel tube and JB weld for all my racks attachments... I'll still have to keep using homemade solutions as I'm currently using a body solid rack with 1.25" holes so doubt that rack will be supported... I have converted all my racks attachments to fit

these are awesome. I see the amazon listing has these at 3.125" as the new increased length. I'm thinking 3.25" would be more ideal just for "good measure" since I noticed both brands of my cups sag a little off the rack. key hole placement could stay the same just make them a little longer. I found these since I'm about to sell some 5/8 pin attachments but on the fence now without that extra 0.125 :P

Do you just use the regular 5/8" pin that goes in the back to keep the attachment stable? It's more of a "nice to have" than a "need to have" anyway?
