Thanks!👌🏻 just a question...
monolithic-kernel (being monolithic...😄) is faster, but then micro-kernel is much easier to process because of lightness & having less lines & codes. my question is . . .
*when you're saying monolithic ones are faster, is that true all the time or it depends?*

I want to ask that about the last point in the monolithic kernel,
As said last in point if anyone process gets crashed then the whole system might get crash.
So why major servers are Linux server
???

microkernel can be just as fast...once modules are booted into ram it can run smoothly. might even run faster because it only needs to boot the modules in use.

Can you tell about most popular micro kernels? I mean why has linux become so popular ...even android has it...what were the things that led android to avoid microkernel?

Is the performance difference as bad as people say? Linus Torvalds quotes on why not make the Linux kernel a microkernel makes it look like it would be so bad that people that say the contrary are idiots. Yeah, I know that Torvalds is hyperbolic and dry with his words, but none of the important operating systems today have microkernels, is that so bad?
