The idea behind Galaxias and the whole Roland Cloud are absolutely fantastic. What a world that I can have everything Roland ever had on my computer without having to fill it all up with expensive and vulnerable hardware synths. It's just a shame that you'll never own Galaxias because it's only available as a subscription model. And even if you buy the software synths with a lifetime key, you still have to be connected to the internet every 30 days, otherwise the software will no longer work. As I said, the idea behind the Roland Cloud is fantastic, but the cloud can be a real hell and a nightmare. The developers at Roland still have to make some improvements.

I hate subscriptions but with software do you really ever own anything? You just buy a license to use stuff and if I you don't upgrade (for a fee) as technology evolves You become obsolete

This virtual instrument deserves a dedicated Roland midi keyboard with a touch display, NKS compatibility with full screen match of all graphics, firmware update for Fantom keyboards to have access to all parameters directly from the screen.

I purchase just today zenology ultimate. Wow! Galaxias in my opinion is the best stand alone vst. Now with my jupiter xm i can have fun!

I would buy it immediately. But unfortunately I have to say no to the subscription model.

Been doing this for 20 years. Buy or sub, software plugs WILL go obsolete anyway as the underlying computer OS moves on. I’ve lost thousands of dollars in soft synth purchases.

If this concerns you, I suggest you buy hardware. My MPC and Roland keyboards still work the same or better than when I bought them.
