The context that's missing is it's the great stepping stone for first person shooters on console, which led to their mainstay eventually.

Fun fact at the beginning of the stage and I do mean each and every stage, is a file like a literal file right in front of your face that tells you every little detail on what you're actually supposed to do. All you gotta do is just take a quick glance at it and you know what to do hell you can even take a photo if you wanted to. 😅

I’m sorry, you make a control scheme with one analog stick that is up to your standards. Go ahead. Also, one of the best parts of the game is how it doesn’t tell you what to do-you can explore the maps and complete the missions how you want to. It’s also better if you watch the movie too. It’s amazing.

Could have compared to perfect dark that's better in the same fps genre lol. People forget that female protagonist joanna dark. Glad PD zero is even better and on rare replay for xbox.

I agree. Perfect Dark is better on a trillion levels. This game has been part of my life since I can remember remembering and I still agree.

I was playing Quake on PC when my friends were playing Goldeneye. I never understood why people thought this game was playable. I can appreciate it for what it did but I was never able to get past the terrible controls.
