Thanks for your comment, it is certainly an intriguing model of a Spinosaurus. If it helps Everything Dinosaur does ship items to Thailand for our customers. We would recommend airmail shipping. Check out the website addresses in the video review for further information or click the link in the video description.

Thanks for your input, we have just finished a review of the Carnegie Collectibles Concavenator, no plans for a Dilophosaurus review just yet but Papo Spinosaurus review is scheduled to be made soon.

Thanks for your input, the position of the nostrils, evidence from better known Baryonchidae, isotope analysis indicate a piscivore, however, Spinosaurid fossil material from South America indicated that at least one Spinosaur fed on a Ptrerosaur.

We have been doing some work today coincidently on Spinosaurids, including a relatively new Spinosaurid discovery from Brazil (Oxalaia). I imagine these dinosaurs being a bit like Grizzly Bears with a very varied diet. However, looking at the jaw dynamics for a moment, some studies have shown that Spinosaurus itself with its large, elongated jaws could not have held onto a big dinosaur such as Ouranosaurus. The jaws could break, so perhaps Spinosaurus specialised in hunting smaller animals.

Because I think those fish hunting weapons Spinosaurus & Baryonyx evolved were also used to larger prey, bears have the same fish hunting weapons as Spinosaurus & Baryonyx, but that same bear you see catching salmon on a river at Alaska is also capable of killing a bull moose twice it's size. Spinosaurus' jaws were probably stronger than they look they're not going to break if 2 Spinosaurus fight each other for territory.

Sarcosuchus is my biggest argument why Spinosaurus did not prey on fish like it's smaller relative Baryonyx, because Baryonyx lived in Europe catch fish in rivers that had no monster crocodiles living in them, but in Africa Sarcosuchus would made fishing trip extremely dangerous, safer for Spinosaurus to stay on land & shallow water hunt dinosaurs. Perhaps Spinosaurus used the same killing technique as crocodiles grip it's prey with it's jaws drag it to the water & hold it until it drowns.

Bengal tigers & saltwater crocodiles did live in the same habitat in
Southeast Asia at 1 time, until both species are now extinct in that area because of poaching. I think it's safe to say that tigers did hunted saltwater crocodiles & probably scared them to the oceans & even to Australia just so they don't get eaten by the big cats, because the salties sure didn't make the tiger fear the water.

Paleontologists discover a complete Spinosaurus skeleton, I've seen the picture on Wikipedia on display at a museum in Japan. The animal actually has a lump on the middle of the spine where the bone was healed after it break, probabily from another Spinosaurus chancing it from it's territory.

Studied Palaeontology to MA level, dissertation on large European Therapods (including Baryonx), the computer modelling of similar jaws to Spino indicated snapping, holding in a very similar way to a crocodile. Whereas predation on larger animals probably happened in ambush situations, these were convenient prey. Existing fossil evidence suggest fish 'Onchopristis', vertebrae found embedded in fossil jaw MSNN V4047. Active large land based predatorshave shorter jaws and different teeth.
