Makes me think of being the music to a game where humanity has taken over the galaxy and an overwhelming intergalactic war of relentless destruction has arisen between dozens of factions with apocalyptic space battles and planetary battles and the powerful drums at 2:21 being the cannons being fired from some of these spaceships.

And throughout the song we see the premise of the game... The massive loss of life
You are a player between thousands of other combating NPCS/players, and your life means absolutely nothing, just like everyone elses.

A true catastrophy of life

I clicked simply because the structure (and the colour) here look like the Ring from The Expanse _[shameless advertising] best sci fi show._ And by saying that, the song really fits with it too. It has a very sci fi feel to it, even without looking at the image.
A good theme for a strike team trying to disable a large dreadnought, or a smaller interceptor vessel trying to destroy or bypass a massive blockade of warships. Maybe with someone dying, a valiant sacrifice.
