Installing New Copperhead Blades on My Bad Boy Mower

I almost make a huge mistake when installing a fresh set of Copperhead blades on my Bad Boy Maverick. I have gotten as much life out of my last set of copperheads as I could so it was time to get a fresh set installed for this spring mowing season. I am so ready to get to cutting grass, I can't wait!

OMG.
1. Use some anti-seize on the blade bolts (I like Loctite 555336 Copper Anti-Seize Lubricant).
2. Check your spindles. Something sounded horrible when you started the blades.
3. For blades, I like 6PK Oregon 396-740 Gator G6 Blade 20-1/2in for my Maverick 60”

Good Luck!

using a torque wrench to correctly tighten the bolts when installing blades will help prevent the problem of getting the bolts loose when its time to remove them.

How do you like the bad boy brand? Looking to make my first purchase of a zero turn. Thanks
