Witchy Skulls and Bones Collection | Bone Magick Witch Vlog 🦴

Modern folk magic is my favorite. Bone magick in folklore it is fascinating. So many cultures have used bones in magick. Bones in witchcraft comes with a long laundry list of associates that aren't always positive. As a folk magick practitioner and practicing green witch, I find bones to be a wonderful add into my craft. I currently do not practice divination with bones but I would love to study more about this subject. Bones fascinate me, I suppose partly because of my brother, who is an oddities collector. Today we are touring his house and viewing his collection. Let's tour a house of bones! I can't wait to share this tour of skulls. Skulls and bones in general just fascinate me.

I completely understand that many are not fans of this type of collection and many are :) I myself don't know if I would keep human skulls in my own home but I have lots of animal bones and skulls at my house that I have found in the forest. I love that part of me that is such a forest witch. I love to collect and use what I find. This is what is the drive for my green forest spell work most of the time. It starts with what I find, then what I desire and then the candles are being lit. modern folk magick begins.

Bones hold spooky kind of curiosity. This collection is amazing! In the Greek Orthodox religion, skeletons are exhumed after 5 or 7 years and the bones are cleaned and preserved in an osteothiki (bone case). Each family could have the bones of generations of relatives. When I married my husband, I learned and it freaked me out a bit. Now I find it kind of comforting.

massively freaky collection there. Got to admit the butterflies and skull were my favourite. I also collect bones, when I'm lucky enough to find them. I haven't found any for a while, but the last one I found was a fox's jawbone and a large canine tooth.
