Ive said this before and I'll say it again the Batman 1919 - 1939 series would make for a great TV series. So fascinating and unique

Meaningless head canons:

After Harley left Joker she switched from an axe to a to a large mallet as her signature weapon in order to distance herself from her past violente self, along with changing to a less creepy costume.

Tho while Harley's fame through emancipation of her ex was used to inspire many good things with it, her connection to the clown was used to inspire many monsters who idolised The Joker and Harley's crimes notable members were the leader of the Joker gang of 1955 Marian Drews and the Gotham bomber/mass shooter and online joker fan Alexis Kaye in 2022.

Batman would constantly watch over Harley and her gain making sure they didn't get in too deep with their actions as he now monitors the growing numbers of "Masks" likely out of feeling responsible for it all.

Future Mayor of Gotham Q Sharp was one of many who were repulsed by Harley's growing fame although as he viewed the cities idealizations of "Freaks" and "A normalisation of insanity and rebel rousing" something  he would use for his campaign for "make Gotham normal again" which helped him get elected a Gotham under his rule led to more trouble during the "Arkham City years"

Harley's desire for redemption led her to join the war effort after being approached by a man offering a full pardon if she agreed to their terms.

Hey Batfeed, I'm not sure whether you've made your epilogue yet, but since the timeline "ends" in 1939, you could mention a writer/artist called Milton Finger was hired by a Robert Kane to adapt these tales for an ongoing publication of Detective Comics, and basically what WE know as the stories of the Batman essentially are outgrown legends and adaptations, modernised, expanded and retold from the pages and radio shows of National Comics Publications, which in decades time, will rename itself.

That was so excellently done! I especially enjoyed how you incorporated real world actress in the story. Also the production value is so great. You can feel the enjoyment and love for the source material. But it's not a gatekeeping love of Batman but a share what's so awesome about Batman and the unique landscape of Gotham kind of love. I vibe with everything!

Been enjoying your series up till now and look forward to seeing this episode as well.

It's nice to see an episode fully focused on her even though we did get some mentions of her and season 1 of the Arkham episode, and a bit in season 2.

I like to imagine, in this universe, Batman: The Animated Series was a loose adaptation of these events. The reason why it has the ‘dark deco’ aesthetic, is because of this time period.

I have a suggestion for adding another character if the series continues and it's superman. If you want to add him on the series here's my take on his origin since he's an alien and the tone of this series is realistic here's how I'll atler it. A man named Jordan Ellis (Jor-el) is playing his new bought plane with his wife Lara ellis and their son karl ellis (Kal-el) their journey go to Kansas, after the they decided to make a visit there the plane malfunctioned and crashed on the Kent's house killing jor el as Lara was dying they she told martha Kent and Jonathan kent to take their baby and love him with like a son as Lara died the kents took her word and decided to raise the baby with all their heart and taught him good manners
and named him Clark. Clark during his childhood is pure of heart, kind and caring to not only his family and people Clark has myostatin-related muscle hypertrophy as Clark discovered that he started lifting in his teens clark was very strong but still the same personality in adulthood (let's say he became a bronze era lifter) not only Clark was a bronze era lifter he broke many records first with becoming the strongest man lifting 10 tons and pulling a train, being able to run faster than a train, able to take cannonball shots and bullets without pain and damage, being able to jump and leap 20 feet high. He became a hero after learning how much crimes are being committed and became known as superman and wearing a blue Spandex with red boots, cape, and the underwear on the outside and with S symbol on his
Chest let's say he came to Gotham due to the high crime rates. my storytelling is a bit bad so if you decided to add him you can modify my take on him and it's your choice what to do with him when he arrives on Gotham
